If you haven’t heard of Beautycounter, the company offers healthier skincare, makeup, anti-aging, bath, hair, and body products and has a collective mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone. You can check out the commonly used toxic chemicals that Beautycounter forbids here.
You know I geek out over all things nutrition (fitness, too), but healthy living is so much more than how we fuel and move our bodies. It includes what we put onto and use around them, too.
So as I’ve worked to build a healthier home these last few years, I’ve been searching for products that are free of harmful chemicals but that also work. Beautycounter has far exceeded any expectations I had (I’m not even a products “person” lol), and I love their mission and B-Corp certification so much that I felt passionate enough to represent the brand.
This means that I’m going to continue learning about and using their products, and sharing my favorites with those who are interested. It also means that if you purchase any Beautycounter product through this link that I become your go-to gal for any questions you have. Finding products that are right for you can seem overwhelming, so please know I’m here if you need any help!
You should also know that I’m not someone who has naturally “good” skin. I’ve struggled with acne and related scarring for as long as I can remember despite a “clean” diet free of both gluten and dairy, regular exercise, etc. Consistency with my Beautycounter regimen has been a game changer and, it’s simple.
Please let me know if you’d like personal recommendations based on your skin type. I’d love to help!
