She oversees the creation and development of all original and curated health content focusing on clinical and wellness topics. In addition, Emily provides platform-directed coaching and is keenly focused on enhancing user engagement to drive behavior change.
With experience as a telephonic Health Coach at HealthFitness, a Trustmark Company, Emily brings incredible insight on the psychology of behavior change. Her work focused not only on improving the health and well-being of at-risk populations, but also on keeping healthy people healthy. She interacted directly with hundreds of participants, cultivated trusting interpersonal relationships and earned participant commitment toward health improvement and long-term change. Emily has expertise in the development of actionable, effective and participant-centered health management solutions that create a culture of wellness both within and beyond the workplace.
Since 2012, Emily has worked as an ACSM- and Metabolic Effect-certified personal trainer, fat loss nutrition coach and group exercise instructor throughout North Carolina, with worldwide reach across various social media platforms. Her clients span many different ages and fitness levels, and include overweight/obese populations, those new to exercise, recreational athletes and busy professionals looking to streamline their life and take their mindset and physique to the next level. She has expertise in designing behavior modification blueprints and implementing personalized wellness programs geared to driving sustainable and enjoyable lifestyle change.
Emily is the Founder of and content creator at www.emilyminer.com and is a recognized educator, influencer and behavior change specialist. She serves as a Brand Ambassador for NuttZo and Livewell360, has been a contributing writer for BossFit Magazine and has been featured as a guest contributor at Vitacost.com, for Premier Protein and for other health/fitness professionals in the online space. Emily has been invited to speak at a number of public engagements and has delivered presentations across a variety of healthy living topics. She continues to work as a coach and personal trainer, educating, empowering and inspiring women to live a healthier lifestyle.
Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport.
